Better Grilling with Hardwood and Bamboo Charcoal and Briquettes

80,000+ satisfied customers swear by long-lasting heat, perfect temperature control & a mild grilled aroma

Great opportunities with Kamado grills

Ceramic grills, also known as Kamado grills, are fantastic grilling devices. To unlock their full potential and improve your grilling, you need high-quality fuel. We have the right charcoal and bamboo briquettes for every need and every ceramic grill. You can find out why and to whom we recommend our BAMBUKO briquettes in the following article.

The advantages of ceramic grills are obvious:

Ceramic grills insulate incredibly well

the heat is stored by the ceramic and simultaneously concentrated

The air regulators give you precise temperature control

Very low coal consumption

We have two types of charcoal on offer:

Both burn very cleanly and hot. First-class quality from sustainable sourcing. Charcoal made from 100% upcycled materials.

Best charcoal for all ceramic grills and Kamado grills!

And for all those who like to barbecue longer, hotter, and more, we recommend our BAMBUKO grill briquettes without binders, but with an incredible 93% carbon purity.

BAMBUKO grill briquettes are the cleanest, hottest, and highest quality grill briquettes available. With a burn time of 4-8 hours and peak temperatures over 900°C, depending on the application.

The perfect combination of charcoal flexibility and long briquette burning time

You can easily break the long BAMBUKO sticks into any size you like by hand and then mix these pieces with the charcoal.

But be careful! Never use inferior briquettes in a Kamado grill. The smoke and smell can get stuck in the fine pores of the ceramic and virtually ruin it. Also, do not pour hot briquettes (or charcoal) into the cold grill, as it can crack due to thermal shock.

A ceramic grill must be brought up to temperature slowly, and then everything will be fine.

When choosing the right charcoal for your ceramic grill, these factors are crucial

Large charcoal pieces, low ash content

High-quality manufacturing for high carbon content and clean combustion

Long and consistent burn time

Those who pay attention to quality grill better, especially in a Kamado grill.

I get my charcoal from Europe from McBrikett because it's so darn good and reliable,
that there's nothing comparable here.

Pure grilling pleasure... so far I've used KOKOKO and BAMBUKO for grilling, and they're great. The consistent heat release over a long period ensures perfectly cooked grilling results.

Whether it's medium rare beef or pulled pork for a long cook, McBrikett provides the reliable heat source.

Great quality, the coconut briquettes burn for a really long time. Made a 12-hour brisket at approx. 105-110 degrees in a water smoker. After using 6 kg of briquettes, there was still about 1-1.5 kg remaining. Never had any problems searing for 3-4 hours with one load in the Dutch oven either. Will definitely order again for the smoker and Dutch oven!
