BAMBUKO: Bamboo Briquette Charcoal
Thanks to the elaborate production method, BAMBUKO is particularly fine and pure, and due to its 93% carbon purity, it glows at over 900 degrees in optimal conditions. Top chefs particularly appreciate this. Conversely, this means you need much less than with conventional grill briquettes or charcoal and have enough heat for a fine branding on the steak, even without grill grates. No additional binder necessary: the bamboo charcoal is pressed into briquette form before carbonization. Due to the lignin, the natural binder in wood, contained in the bamboo shavings, they are completely starch-free.
Therefore, grillers with gluten intolerance (celiac disease) can also use our grill briquettes without hesitation.

How efficient and high-quality our charcoal is can also be seen from the ash content that remains after grilling. Based on weight, 3% to a maximum of 6% ash remains. This is 80% less than with charcoal and makes cleaning the grill considerably easier.

Premium Bamboo Grill Briquettes
The high carbon content leaves no room for other dirt or soot, so you hardly get dirty fingers when handling BAMBUKO. The sticks can be easily broken by hand and thus divided into the right size for any grill. Another advantage of BAMBUKO is that at low temperatures, you only need a very small amount of briquettes (0.5 – 1.0 kg) to cook, grill, and smoke in a ceramic grill.

Bamboo is not only one of the fastest-growing resources, it is also ideally suited for the production of high-quality grill briquettes.
Actually, bamboo is not a tree at all, but a grass plant. That's why it grows so fast. Depending on the species, bamboo is woody after 3-5 years and can be harvested. And here's the kicker: as soon as it's cut, the next shoots are already growing from the rootstock.

For the production of our bamboo briquettes, we use bamboo shavings from the bamboo processing industry (upcycling).
