That's why we donate a portion of our proceeds to reforestation. And each individual can help contribute to making the world a little greener.

In addition to our sustainable charcoal made from bamboo shavings or coconut shells and the fully biodegradable FUSL cleaner, you can now also purchase trees with your order, which will be planted where they are most needed. 100% of the money goes to the reforestation of rainforests, where deforestation is particularly severe and threatens our global climate.

*Some trees cost more, some less than 1 EUR. We naturally use every donated euro for trees and even add a bit more.
We donate 100% of the donations to our partner One Tree Planted for this project. We just collect it and send it on in a big bag. One Tree Planted plants trees all over the globe. Trees are now planted on every continent on Earth, except Antarctica. This is how we make our world a little better and greener.
Since the start of our cooperation in March 2020, we have jointly planted an average of approximately 2500 trees per year with you! A number we are proud of, and which we want to expand further – together with you for a liveable Earth!

PROTECTION AGAINST FLOODING
The tree roots increase the soil's water storage capacity by forming a system of cavities. The soil is also held together by the roots, which prevents landslides.
CONVERSION OF CO2 INTO OXYGEN
An adult tree provides enough oxygen for up to 15 people to breathe per day.
CARBON STORAGE
About half of the carbon bound on Earth is stored by trees. If forests are cleared, most of the carbon is released as carbon dioxide (CO2). The CO2 that trees would process is harmful to the environment and to people.

HECTARES OF OUR EARTH ARE CURRENTLY COVERED BY FORESTS. REPLANTING AN ADDITIONAL 900 MILLION HECTARES IS POSSIBLE. THIS CORRESPONDS TO THE AREA OF THE USA.
This non-profit organization was founded in 2014 and plants trees in North America, South America, Asia, Australia, Africa and Europe. While a total of approximately 6 million trees were planted by 2019, an incredible result of 23 million trees planted was achieved in 2021 alone! One Tree Planted has made it their mission to make planting trees as easy and transparent as possible for companies, schools and private individuals. We donate a portion of our proceeds to plant even more trees. Our products are as sustainable as possible and thus already contribute to the preservation of forests. No trees are cut down for our charcoal; it is made from coconut shells, bamboo shavings and the otherwise unusable marabu bush.
But sustainability does not mean compromising on quality for us. Our environmentally friendly charcoal is among the highest quality in the world. Accordingly, it is in demand by grill masters, star chefs & BBQ Grand Champions throughout Europe. Even "Grill den Hessler" has already acquired a taste for it.
